Standard AI models kept producing fantasy Vikings: horns, leather armor, Hollywood clichés. Birka needed historically grounded portraits, so we trained a custom model on realistic Viking-era references. To our knowledge, it remains the only portrait model built specifically for historically accurate Viking reconstruction.
This project was not about cars. It was about creating compliant portraits in a world where almost every visual cue is protected IP. We built a custom portrait pipeline that avoided copyrighted assets while still producing images that felt premium, exciting, and commercially strong.
Art of the brick is a build pipeline, not a blocky filter. A supporting portrait style creates strong shapes; the engine then expands outlines so features survive downscaling, snaps every pixel to one of sixteen real brick colors in LAB space - never dithered - and renders studs, borders, and shadows in under a second.
