Titanic exhibitions

Touring internationally · AI Photo Kiosk · Since November 2024

Titanic exhibitions

Titanic exhibitions move from city to city, and the portrait kiosk moves with them.

1.9M+portraits generatedNovember 2024–August 2026

The brief

Several touring Titanic exhibitions wanted visitors to leave with a portrait of themselves as a passenger, in the look of that exhibition and in the visitor’s own language. The kiosk had to fit at the exit or in the shop, and go with the show to its next city.

What we built

An AI Photo Kiosk: the visitor takes a photo, picks from several Titanic-era portraits of themselves, pays and takes home a print with a digital copy. Styles are tuned for each exhibition and the interface switches language on the kiosk. When a show moves on, the same kiosk is set up at the next stop and its styles and settings are changed remotely.

ENTR

Amsterdam, Netherlands · VR museum · Custom development · Since 2025

ENTR

Every party that goes through ENTR’s VR experience finds its portraits waiting at the exit.

The brief

ENTR is a VR museum next to Amsterdam Centraal, with a 30-minute show set in 17th-century Amsterdam. Groups arrive together, spend the show in headsets and leave together. ENTR wanted the photo to work like a ride photo: taken on the way in and waiting on the way out, with no stop to pose.

What we built

ENTR’s check-in station photographs each party, and its VR system sends the photos to our generation API during the show. We return a group portrait set in 17th-century Amsterdam and Rembrandt-style portraits of each person. Two self-service exit kiosks run our software: visitors tap their group or scan their ticket, choose group and individual portraits in one basket, pay, print and take a frame from the rack, in Dutch or English, without staff.

Bubble Planet

Groups are photographed as they walk in and collect their prints in the shop on the way out.

52K+photo sessionsFebruary–September 2026

The brief

Bubble Planet is a touring immersive experience that people visit as families and groups of friends. The photo had to show the whole group, be taken at the entrance without holding up the queue, and be bought in the shop at the end of the visit.

What we built

TheArtisan Studio, in two parts. At the entrance, visitors scan the QR code on their ticket and take their group photo in front of a professional camera and two studio lights; the background is removed and the group is placed in a bubble-world scene. In the shop, a pickup station finds the photos by the same ticket and prints the ones they choose, next to a wall screen of recent groups. It has run in Manchester, Utrecht, Melbourne, London, Cologne, Los Angeles, Montreal and Washington, DC, and since September in Vienna.

Birka Viking Museum

Birka Viking Museum

Viking portraits for a Viking-age site, dressed from reconstructions of real finds.

The brief

Birka was one of the main trading towns of the Viking age, and its museum shows what the people there wore and carried. A portrait sold in its shop had to look like that, with clothing and gear that follow the archaeological record.

What we built

A kiosk built into the museum shop, in a weathered-wood frame on a timber post, with framed sample portraits beside it. We trained its Viking style on curated references, including helmets reconstructed from Viking-age finds, mail shirts and reconstructed women’s dress, and reviewed the results in marked-up rounds before release. Visitors take a photo, choose a portrait and leave with it framed, plus a digital copy. The kiosk runs with the museum’s season, May to October.
